About Me
I'm David Duchesne — and I didn't come up through a traditional tech path. For years, I worked as a right-hand partner to senior executives across insurance, politics, restaurants, events, and philanthropy. I traveled to 27+ countries keeping high-powered people organized, focused, and performing at their best.
That experience taught me something most developers don't have: I understand what business leaders actually need. Not just clean code — but systems that solve real problems, save real time, and work reliably under pressure.
I studied computer science for two years before life pulled me in another direction. Then the AI boom hit — and it pulled me right back. Something about what was suddenly possible made it impossible to stay on the sidelines. Over the last year I've gone deep: building with the Claude API, designing autonomous agents, and shipping AI-native applications. The foundation was always there. AI just made it click.
Right now I'm building AI Hotels — an AI-native hospitality platform — and taking on Upwork contracts where I can bring both operational thinking and technical execution to the table.
